Guitar Lick - Metal meets blues in E

The following guitar lick to my ears is bluesy but still works well in a metal setting. It uses a symmetrical pattern over a metal riff in the key of E. Note the tied note at the beginning. Basically all 16th notes after that. Alternate picking for the most part but whatever feels comfortable and sounds good is cool.
