Drop D Metal Guitar Riff

Since it is a long weekend at least here in North America I thought I'd post the next couple riffs early to give interested guitarists some more time to practice them. The tuning for this guitar riff is Drop D down a half step or what I like to call "Avenged Sevenfold" tuning C# G# C# F# A# D#. This is a pretty basic guitar riff but I liked the sound and thought it was cool. The melodic section uses a couple different triad shapes on the root fourth string. Here are the tab and video. A lot of 16th notes this time so practice slowly with a metronome if you find the pace too fast.
