This guitar lick is based around the 4th shape of the minor pentatonic scale for a more advanced use of this position you can hear Eric Clapton use this a lot in his later blues material. We are in the key of Bb but playing in the B position because the guitar is tuned down a half step. If you don't want to tune down you can play everything on fret lower on the guitar and still accompany the backing track.
